First Post

I fought tooth and nail but I finally caved in. I'm starting a blog. At first I'm sure it will be clunky and slow and not very interesting. But I hope to improve in time and provide some useful information anyone care to read it. Constructive feedback will always be welcome.

Since I am Hungarian - hence the name of the blog (Magyar means Hungarian in Hungarian) - I am interested in saving money, getting deals, or perhaps even making a little money without spending it. I freely admit that some of the links I provide on this blog may make me money. (I really really would like to pay off my student loans before I retire!) However, it does not mean that you won't benefit as well.

I am also a "green" person who is interested in protecting the environment. So some of the posts will relate to that.
